‘Velbari’ novel to be filmed in Shankar-Suriya combo?


It has been reported that the novel ‘Velbari’ written by writer Su Venkatesan has been planned to be filmed. Tamil cinema is currently leaning towards novels. The movies ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ and ‘Viduthai’ are being made based on novels. In that regard, information has come out that the novel ‘Velbari’ written by Madurai MP and writer Su.Venkatasen is being made into a film. Earlier it was said that Dhanush and Vethimaran were involved in filming this novel. It became unbearable.

Following this, it has been reported that director Shankar is going to shoot the story of ‘Velbari’ in a grand manner and Suriya is showing interest in acting in it. Recently, he had said that an interesting journey has started with writer S. Venkatesan, who attended the ‘Viruman’ film festival held in Madurai, and an announcement about it will be made soon.

Also, yesterday, the motion poster of actor Suriya’s 42nd film with director ‘Siruthai’ Siva was also released. This is also being made as a historical film in 3D.
