It has been reported that Dhanush starrer ‘Thirchirambalam’ has collected more than Rs.100 crores so far.
Mithran Jawahar, who has directed films including ‘Yaradi Nee Mohini’ and ‘Utthama Putran’, is teaming up with Dhanush again in ‘Thirchirambalam’. Starring Nithya Menon, Rashi Khanna, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bharathiraja and Prakash Raj, the film was produced by Sun Pictures. Anirudh Isaiyamatta’s film released in theaters on August 18.
The film opened in 600 theaters worldwide and received positive reviews. As a result, the film collected Rs.9.52 crore worldwide on its first day of release. On the second day, the theaters thronged the theaters due to positive reviews. As a result, the film collected Rs 8.79 crore on the second day. In that way, the film collected Rs.51.42 crore in the first week alone. 15 days have passed since the release of the film, it has been reported that ‘Trichiratambalam’ has reached Rs.100 crores.
In this regard, in an interview given by film businessman Trinath, “‘Trichitambalam’ has emerged as the biggest grosser of Dhanush’s career in Tamil Nadu. The film has surpassed the collection of ‘Karnan’. The film has crossed the Rs 100 crore club and is running successfully on the screens for the third week as well,” he said.
Meanwhile, with the Vinayagar Chaturthi holiday coming up and Vikram’s ‘Cobra’ not getting the expected reception, fans are flocking to ‘Trichirtambalam’.
