A private school is functioning at Kaniyamur in Chinnasalem area of ​​Kallakurichi district. According to the school, a 12th class student who was studying in the hostel in this school committed suicide by jumping from the 2nd floor of the school on the 12th.

However, the student’s parents complained to the police station that they were suspicious of her death. Parents and villagers protested by besieging the school demanding justice for the death of the student.

The Special Investigation Division police are arresting those involved in the riots that rocked Tamil Nadu with video evidence and CCTV footage. The police have so far arrested more than 300 people in connection with the violence.

Also, the police are conducting an investigation to identify the person with the help of video, surveillance camera recordings, photographs and the registration number of the vehicles left behind by the protesters.

In this case, the police arrested 2 admins who created a ‘Whats App’ group and connected more than a hundred people, Kolanchimani’s son Vijay from Chepakkam next to Veypur in Cuddalar district and Duraipandi the son of Etummalai from Dhruvur next to Shankarapuram in Kallakurichi district.

The Special Investigation Team police arrested 4 people, namely Kumaravel son Ayyanar from Kachakkudi next to Eranchi who posted comments on the ‘Whats App’ group in order to break the frenzy and Murugan son Parameswaran from Puduphallakacherry who threw stones at the police on security duty.

The police produced all the arrested persons before the Kallakurichi Second Criminal Magistrate. Judge Muhammad Ali ordered the four accused to be remanded in judicial custody for 15 days. After this they were all imprisoned.
