Guwahati: An IndiGo flight from Assam’s Jorkat to Kolkata veered off the runway, skidded and got stuck in mud, causing chaos. Due to this the flight was canceled and the passengers suffered.

An Indigo flight was scheduled to take off from Assam’s Jorkat to Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. Passengers boarded and sat in the plane. A total of 98 passengers were on board this flight. The plane, which was ready to take off at exactly 2.20 pm yesterday, skidded off the runway while trying to take off. One side tire of the plane got stuck in the grass outside the runway.

The company was immediately terminated

The pilot realized that one side tire of the plane was stuck in mud and immediately stopped the plane. This prevented the plane from having a major accident. Passengers from the plane escaped unhurt. Following this, all the passengers were safely evacuated from the plane immediately. After this the aircraft was safely brought to a stop.
