ICourt bans illegal publication of ‘The Legend’ film on the internet


Chennai: The High Court has ordered a ban on the illegal release of the movie “The Legend” starring Saravana Stores owner Saravanan which was released today.

Arul Saravanan is the owner of Badi in Chennai and Saravana stores in Thiagarayanagar. His self-produced film “The Legend” in which he is playing the lead has released today. Directed by directors JD-Jerry, the film has music composed by Harris Jayaraj and stars Urvashi Ravdela, Vivek, Suman, Nasser, Vijayakumar, Yogi Babu, Kowai Sarala and others.

In this case, D. Ravindran had filed a case in the Madras High Court on behalf of ‘The Legend New Saravana Stores Productions’ company, seeking a ban on the illegal publication of the film on websites.

The case came up for hearing before Justice Senthilkumar Ramamurthy. Advocate Vijayan Subramanian appeared and argued on behalf of the petitioner.

After hearing the case, the judge has banned 1,262 websites and 29 internet service companies including BSNL, Airtel, Reliance, Tata and Vodafone from publishing the movie “The Legend” illegally.
