Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Shamshera’ has grossed worse than the recent release of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Samrad Prithviraj’.
Ranveer Kapoor starrer ‘Shamshera’ directed by Karan Malhotra. Vaani Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and many others have acted in this film. The film was released in theaters on 22nd. After several days of shooting on a budget of Rs 150 crore, the film collected only Rs 10.24 crore on the first day. Akshay Kumar’s ‘Samrad Prithviraj’ collected 10.70 crores on its first day.
It has been reported that Shamshera’s 2nd day collection is close to Rs 10 crore. Even after the film was released in more than 4,000 theaters after the Corona pandemic, the expected collection did not come, which has caused confusion for the film team.
It is said that this collection situation may worsen in the coming days as the film is facing negative reviews.
Also, the screenings of the film have been reduced from many theaters. Meanwhile, for the past few months, Bollywood films have been taking the worst place in the collections. While the film was expected to be a box office hit, it has also disappointed.
Next, Ranveer Kapoor’s ‘Brahmastra’ has been made at a cost of Rs 300 crore. The question has been raised whether this film will end Bollywood’s woes.
