The best actor award goes to Suriya and Ajay Devgan for his role in the Hindi film ‘Thanhaji: Unsung Warrior’.
Released in Malayalam, ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ has won awards in 4 categories – Best Director, Supporting Actor, Singer and Fight Direction. The award for best playback singer has been announced for Nanjamma, a tribal girl who sang the song ‘Kalakkatha Chandanameram Vekuvaka Bhoothirku’ featured in it.
‘Sivaranjani and some other women’ directed by Vasanth Sai has been selected as the best Tamil film. For this film, the best editor award went to Kar Prasad and the supporting actress award went to Lakshmi Priya Chandramelali.
